About the Role
As a Support Worker, you'll empower people with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live life their way, at home and in the community. From supporting to preparing meals and managing medication to helping with household tasks, you'll be there to make daily life easier and more enjoyable.
You'll encourage independence, nurture friendships, and open doors to new experiences, whether it's volunteering, hobbies, or activities they love. Working in our brand-new services with individual flats, you'll often work independently, using your initiative to provide personalised support, while knowing a supportive team is always just a call away.
Duties could include:
* Providing personalised support tailored to individual needs.
* Offering emotional support and positive encouragement.
* Completing light household tasks and administrative duties.
* Bringing fresh ideas and helping to improve ways of working.
* Checking and digitally recording medication stocks and personal finances in line with policy.

What You'll Need:
* Experience working with people or customers

What are the pay and benefits?
Experience working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those with mental health needs or learning disabilities, is desirable but not essential. We provide full training and ongoing development to support your success in the role.
* Competitive salary of £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
* Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
* Every other weekend off
* Enhanced DBS which we will pay for
* 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 27 days after 1 years' service or cash equivalent of 1 days' annual leave
* Pension scheme.
* Sick Pay, rising with length of service up to 6 months full pay after 4 years
* Bespoke learning pathway with the support from an experienced Learning and Development team
