Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team, coordinate food production, and enhance the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
* Oversee Front of house staff training and development, fostering a positive team environment.
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation.
* Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to meet demand.
* Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers for quality ingredients.
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal offerings.
Skills
* Proven experience in restaurant Supervisor or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Experience in supervising staff, including training new employees effectively.
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
* Background in serving or barista experience is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
