To work with a team of radiologists, radiographers and ancillary staff providinge a safe and efficient radiology service 7 days a week.
Including X-ray, Dexa and CT scanning. Maintaing a high radiographic standard along with a first-rate standard of patient care.
Main duties of the job
* Work on a rota system through x-ray, CT and Dexa scanning. Administration of cannulas and I.V. contrast media.
* Comply with the ionizing Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (2000).

Education/Qualifications
* Bsc Radiography
* HCPC registration
* Evidence of study days and courses
* Expierience of variety of radiology modalities
* Working knowledge of general aspects of radiology
* Understanding of IRMER principles
* Teaching and training of students and other radiology staff
Skills and attributes
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Able to work as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure and to fixed time scales
* Ability to use initiative
* Ability to self motivate and motivate others
* Willingness to learn and develop
* Ability to empathise with patients needs
