Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant: Provide high-quality classroom assistance across a variety of subjects and year groups. Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support tailored to individual student needs. Work closely with class teachers to prepare, adapt, and deliver learning activities. Assist pupils with SEN, ensuring inclusive access to the curriculum. Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence among learners. Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. What You’ll Need as a Learning Support Assistant: Experience supporting children or young people in an educational or care setting. Strong communication, patience, and organisational skills. A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to learning. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and follow direction. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
