Our client secondary schools based in Bury are seeking additional supply teachers to ensure they have a continuous workforce starting in September. Flexible supply teacher roles are available to suit your availability. Cover Supervisor work is also available for educators without teaching qualifications.
Position Details:
* Work to start from September for the full academic year
* Earn £120 - £150 per day, depending on experience
* Must be available between 2-5 days a week
* Opportunity to work in various schools across Bury
* Deliver pre-set work and lead classes in the absence of teachers
* Manage behaviour and ensure tasks are completed by pupils
* Work alongside senior teachers to improve attainment across different abilities
Requirements:
* Transferable teaching experience within secondary education
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for teaching roles
* For Cover Supervisor roles, no teaching qualification is necessary
Additional Information:
* Schools are accessible via M62, A580, M66, and A56, with public transport options from Greater Manchester areas like Bolton and Rochdale
* All applicants require appropriate qualifications and training, including a valid enhanced DBS check
* Pay rates include statutory holiday pay of 12.07%
* This is a temporary role with potential for permanency later
