This position is based out of our of Somerset, PA office, but the project location Homer City, PA Your Responsibilities as a Site Construction Surve yor : Perform topography, construction stakeout, asbuilt, and control surveys using conventional and GPS survey methods. Proficient with Carlson and Trimble GPS systems Strong technical skills and knowledge of construction drawings. Have a solid understanding of CAD/Carlson software. Document field observations and prepare daily field reports. Perform office computations for stakeout Observe safe work practices. What we're looking for: GED or High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred. 3-5 years of survey experience as a construction layout surveyor required Ability to work with design engineers, clients, contractors, and the general public Ability to work well in a team environment Experience with different surveys and survey equipment. Able to perform manual labor, able to carry 50 pounds of equipment, walk across varying terrain, etc. Good driving record.
