We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive executive support to the Head. Acting as a key point of contact, you will manage a complex diary, coordinate meetings and communications, and ensure the smooth running of the Head’s Office.
This is a pivotal role requiring excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, governors, and external stakeholders. You will play a central part in supporting strategic activity, coordinating events, and ensuring the Head is fully prepared for all engagements.
As an ambassador for the School, you will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and initiative, contributing to the effective leadership and wider life of the school community. With around 500 colleagues and 1,300 pupils, our organisation is vibrant and fast-paced. Your contribution will make a real difference.
* Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, ideally within an educational or similarly complex environment.
* Extensive experience managing complex, fast-paced diaries, including prioritisation, scheduling conflicts, and long-term planning.
* Skilled in preparing accurate minutes, briefing documents, and high-quality correspondence.
* Advanced IT proficiency, including expert use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and confidence in learning new digital systems.
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all communications and documentation are professional.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and liaise confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, governors, parents, and external partners.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
* A positive, approachable manner with a strong commitment to supporting the wider school community.
