Accounts Administrator £28,000-£36,000 per annum Ongar, Essex
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Accounts Administrator to join their dynamic accounts team located in Ongar!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Posting supplier invoices onto Sage 50, ensuring they are the correct nominal and not over the purchase order value.
2. Dealing with subcontractor invoices, collating applications for payment, and submitting to quantity surveyor teams.
3. Sending remittances to both suppliers and subcontractors and handling any queries.
4. Opening new supplier accounts.
5. Verifying new subcontractors and PAYE staff.
6. Managing training matrix and booking relevant courses for staff.
7. Posting purchase receipts and subcontractor payments to Sage.
8. Managing PAYE job timesheets and expenses for the in-house costing portal.
9. Setting up new starters on the clocking-in system.
10. Completing C.I.S monthly return on Sage.
11. Liaising with Bookkeeper, Accountant, and senior management.
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong Sage 50 experience.
* Strong C.I.S knowledge.
* Excellent Excel skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Organised with good workload prioritisation skills.
* Confident with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
