Senior Civil Engineer - Highways & Drainage (Section 278 / 38)

Responsibilities
* Lead detailed design of highways and drainage schemes in line with UK standards.
* Prepare technical submissions for Section 278 and Section 38 agreements.
* Produce detailed 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and statutory bodies.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
* Manage workload and project delivery within agreed budgets and timeframes.
About You
* Minimum 10 years' experience in civil engineering design.
* Strong background in highways and drainage design for development infrastructure.
* Thorough knowledge of Section 278 / 38 processes.
* Proficient in Civil 3D and MicroDrainage / Causeway Flow.
* Familiar with current standards (DMRB, SuDS, Sewers for Adoption).
* Excellent communication and coordination skills.
* Desirable:
o Chartered or working towards CEng / IEng (ICE).
o Experience mentoring and managing junior staff.
