Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy? Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Salford Royal hospital pharmacy. You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense medication on outpatient prescriptions.
* Stock ordering and management.
* Invoicing and financing deliveries.
* All other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course.
* Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
* Evidence of qualifications required for the successful candidate.
* Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
* Strong understanding of confidentiality.
* Ability to handle medications accurately.
Essential Skills
* Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of confidentiality.
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
Working Pattern
Total Hours Contracted 18
Working Pattern: Tuesday 8 am to 6 pm, Thursday 8 am to 6 pm
