Senior QHSE Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Senior QHSE Advisor to join a growing organisation supporting complex engineering and operational environments.
This is a key role responsible for driving QHSE excellence, developing management systems, and supporting operational teams to ensure compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across multiple projects and functions.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in:
* Developing and maintaining integrated management systems (IMS)
* Supporting compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001)
* Delivering QHSE strategies, plans, and training
* Leading audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Supporting operational teams with risk assessments and safe working practices
* Driving a strong safety culture and best practice across the business
You will also mentor junior QHSE personnel and contribute to wider organisational performance and governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert QHSE advice and support across operations
* Develop and improve management systems and documentation
* Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
* Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
* Deliver QHSE training and awareness programmes
* Monitor performance through KPIs and reporting
* Support emergency response planning and execution
About You
You will bring:
* Minimum 5 years’ QHSE experience (engineering / industrial environment preferred)
* Strong working knowledge of ISO standards
* Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
* Experience in audits, investigations, and compliance frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
* NEBOSH Certificate
* Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related discipline
* Experience within oil & gas or similar sectors
