We are looking for a creative problem‑solver to join the AMRC Design & Prototyping Group (DPG)—a world‑leading team recognized for excellence in industrial research.
The Role
Impact through Analysis
In this role, you will be the bridge between complex physics and real‑world engineering solutions. Working on cutting‑edge projects, you will:
* Use your simulation experience to provide technical support for high‑stakes thermal projects.
* Perform critical hand calculations, CFD, and FEA to evaluate and optimise thermal conditions.
* Contribute directly to our reputation for high‑quality computational analysis.
* Translate data into action by writing technical reports and presenting results to partners.
Who You Are
We are looking for a curious, self‑starting engineer who loves to get under the hood of how things work. You’ll be a great fit if you have:
* A strong grasp of physics: You understand fluid flow and heat transfer calculations from first principles.
* Simulation skills: You have experience with CFD and are comfortable moving between different software interfaces.
* A hunger to learn: You’re a self‑learner eager to master the latest thermal analysis tools and software code.
* Clear communication: You can explain complex technical findings to a variety of audiences.
