We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join a supportive and talented project management team based in the Liverpool office. Applicants need to have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management and will be able to apply their skills to a variety of sectors includingmercial office, healthcare, education and defence.If you have proven construction project management experience, this role will offer you the opportunity to lead on projects both independently and under the guidance of a project director.
What you need to do to be effective in this role
1. Ability to successfully deliver projects and support in the management of client relationships.
2. Proven construction project management and managing professional teams experience required.
3. Experience across the pre-construction and construction stages of a project
4. Experience of report writing
5. An ability to take on responsibility and act with a level of independence of senior management when called for.
6. An understanding of both NEC and JCT contracts would be beneficial.
The skills and experience you need to have for this role
7. Construction project management experience is essential.
8. Experience using Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Project
9. A degree in a construction-related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered.
10. Professional accreditation or working towards professional accreditation desirable (RICS, CIOB, APM)
11. Experience of delivering presentations and holding client-facing meetings
12. Excellentmunication skills and problem-solving skills
13. Experience in report writing
