Prospero Teaching is currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to join our team and support children in across the BCP.
As a Mentor/Tutor, you’ll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week. You’ll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student’s progress, achievements, and overall development.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location – Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
2. Position – Tutor/Mentor
3. Subject – Functional skills / life skills
4. Start date – ASAP
5. Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
6. End date (if applicable) –
7. Full time/part-time – Part-time
8. The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £25-£30 per hour
9. Hours – flexible
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (desirable however not essential)
10. QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
11. Previous experience working in a UK school
12. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
13. Hold Right to Work in the UK
14. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
15. Provide two professional child related references
16. Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in an educational setting
