The theatre department at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital has 15 theatres and 1 endoscopy room, currently expanding.
We now have opportunities to join our Theatre Assistant Team due to staff promotion and development. This essential role supports the Peri-operative Department's effective functioning. As a Theatre Assistant, you will assist Registered Practitioners in various aspects of clinical care to ensure patients receive excellent care. The role requires commitment to an out-of-hours on-call rota for overnight and weekend shifts, working across 6 days per week.
You should demonstrate a keen interest in this area and understand what the role entails. Willingness to learn is essential; candidates may already possess an SVQ in Healthcare or be willing to study towards it. Physical fitness and excellent communication skills are also required.
Upon completing competencies, you will progress to a band 3 position.
