About The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Installation Operative to join our Installations Team at our Middlesborough branch. This role involves working both at our branch yard and on-site for pump installations as needed.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Promote and exercise the company’s mission statement and core values to deliver a consistent approach to installations across the UK.
* Carry out installations and deinstallations of pumps, pipework, and associated equipment under the direction of the Installation Supervisor.
* Assist drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, checking paperwork, missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area on-site.
* Prioritise safety at all times, demonstrating the confidence, knowledge, and experience to halt installations and advise your supervisor if safety issues arise.
This role is subject to a safety-critical medical examination.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
* Ability to work on construction sites and adapt to challenging situations.
* Effective teamwork and clear communication skills for timely project completion.
* Flexibility with working hours and availability to be ‘on call’.
* Willingness to travel and work away from home occasionally.
* Focus on Health & Safety, ensuring strict adherence to guidelines.
* Full driving licence (no more than 6 points).
Preferred (but not essential):
* Construction Skills CSCS card holder.
* National Water Hygiene Card.
* Confined space training.
* Forklift truck operator certification.
* Understanding of temporary/permanent pumping solutions.
This role requires employees to be willing and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, lone working, and with sewage.
