Teaching Personnel is seeking committed and professional SEN Teaching Assistants to join a well-regarded, Good Ofsted-rated partner school located in the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Role Overview
Successful candidates will work closely with pupils who require additional support, both on a one‑to‑one basis and within small group settings. Responsibilities will include:
Providing tailored one-to-one support to pupils with special educational needs
Delivering structured small group interventions
Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
Supporting the wider classroom environment to promote engagement and progress
Candidate Requirements
Applications are encouraged from:
Individuals with previous experience working in schools or supporting pupils with SEN
Graduates seeking valuable school-based experience prior to pursuing teacher training, educational psychology, or similar career pathways
Candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to helping pupils achieve positive outcomes
A proactive and professional attitude is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
