The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic project delivery environment. This role will see you supporting the commercial management of complex contracts, ensuring robust governance, and driving value across the project lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and the supply chain to manage risk, support procurement, and deliver strong commercial outcomes. Your duties and responsibilities will be
Provide commercial support across a range of project activities including bid governance, change management, and contract administration
Support Project Managers with all commercial aspects of project delivery
Management and mitigation of commercial and supply chain risks
Prepare, manage, and negotiate compensation events, variations, and contractual notices
Ensure compliance with contract terms and internal governance processes
Support procurement activities including tendering, subcontract formation, and supplier management
Manage subcontractors including applications for payment, final accounts, and claims
Maintain accurate commercial records, reports, and performance metrics
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Contribute to project performance through active participation within project teams
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related field
Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within engineering, construction, or infrastructure
Strong understanding of commercial administration and contract management
Experience supporting commercial delivery on large or complex projects
Working knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage multiple commercial activities and priorities effectively

The setting for the role
This role operates within a collaborative project delivery environment, working alongside project managers, commercial teams, and the wider supply chain. You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, supporting both office-based and project-facing activities within a fast-paced and evolving setting.
