Better places, thriving communities.
We're expanding our self-delivery capability and are looking for an experienced Fire Door Surveyor to support our Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme across our London client base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-led environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate survey work.
As a Fire Door Surveyor, you will:
1. Complete detailed fire door surveys across multiple properties within the PPM cycle.
2. Identify defects, non-compliances, and required remedial works in line with accreditation standards.
3. Produce clear, accurate inspection reports with photographic evidence.
4. Work closely with Contract Managers to plan work, prioritise PPM schedules, and support project delivery.
5. Engage professionally with clients, tenants, and stakeholders across busy London environments.
6. Ensure all surveys and documentation meet legal, technical, and safety requirements.
7. Support continuous improvement as we grow our self-delivery model.
What We're Looking For
8. Proven experience surveying fire doors, ideally within PPM, compliance, or passive fire roles.
9. Strong understanding of fire door components, standards, and building regulations.
10. Ability to confidently determine repair vs replacement and identify any associated risks.
11. Excellent reporting skills and strong attention to detail.
12. Comfortable working independently across multiple London sites.
13. Full UK driving licence required.
14. Accreditation (BM Trada / FIRAS / similar) desirable – training support available for the right person.
What We Offer
15. Competitive salary and London-focused workload.
16. Company vehicle, fuel card, tools, and equipment provided.
17. Continued professional development and accreditation support.
18. Opportunity to be part of a major growth phase within Fire Doors and Passive Fire Protection.
19. Supportive team culture with strong operational backing.
