Repton School is on the lookout for a creative and driven Content Creation Executive to join our dynamic Marketing department. This is your chance to help shape the voice and visual identity of a leading school, sharing powerful stories that connect with families, students, and the wider community.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Group Director of Marketing and Admissions, you'll be at the heart of our digital presence — capturing the spirit, energy, and excellence of the Repton School experience. From day-to-day school life to major events, from alumni success stories to thought leadership features, you’ll bring it all to life through impactful video, photography, and short-form content that resonates across our multiple platforms.

Main Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for this role will include:
* Shooting and edit compelling, brand-aligned video and photography — from vibrant day in-the-life stories to campaign assets and live event coverage.
* Creating engaging short-form content tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, as well as the school’s website.
* Conducting engaging, on-camera interviews with students, staff, alumni, and special guests to showcase authentic voices and experiences.
* Crafting concise, on-brand copy to support video narratives, social captions, and visual storytelling.
* Producing real-time and reactive content that capitalises on school events, wider events and digital trends that enhance our school brand.
* Collaborating with the Digital Marketing Executive to deliver a dynamic content calendar, supporting both organic and paid digital campaigns.
* Coordinating with students and staff to schedule and manage content capture at events — from sports fixtures to drama productions and high-profile external appearances by our students and staff.
* Working with our in-house and agency partners to support digital campaigns, newsletters, and creative projects across channels.
* Organising and maintaining the school’s digital asset library, ensuring all content is tagged, searchable, and ready to deploy across platforms.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will:
* Have a strong passion for digital storytelling, social media trends, and visual content that resonates with online audiences
* Hold proven filming and editing skills in both video and photography, with a sharp creative eye
* Be confident using tools like Canva, VistaCreate, CapCut, Adobe Express, or Premiere Pro (or similar tools)
* Be a natural communicator — confident in directing and interviewing students, staff, and visitors on camera
* Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and responding quickly to live events or changes to the content calendar.
* Have a collaborative spirit with a proactive, a can-do mindset and a willingness to contribute to broader school initiatives that enhance our brand presence.
About Repton School
Repton is the ancient capital of Mercia, and the School, founded in 1557 from a bequest from Sir John Port of Etwall, was established on the site of a 7th century Anglo-Saxon Benedictine abbey and latterly a 12th century Augustinian priory and the School today incorporates many of the original buildings from the estate.
The School has over one thousand pupils across the Prep and Senior School, making it large enough to achieve excellence in and out of the classroom, yet small enough for individuals to grow and succeed. Repton and Repton Prep have always enjoyed a very close relationship and in 2020, theschools became athrough-school.
At Repton Senior, each pupil, whether day or boarding, is a member of a House. Academic standards are high and creative activities, including music, art, drama and design, flourish.
