Registered Manager – Elderly Care
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Location: Clevedon (Confidential Employer)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (occasional flexibility appreciated)
My client is a well-established, family-owned care provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care to older adults. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a team of approximately 25 staff members in one of our elderly care homes located in Clevedon.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operational and strategic management of the home, ensuring that the highest standards of care are consistently delivered in line with regulatory and internal quality frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of around 25 care staff, promoting a positive and supportive culture.
2. Ensure compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
3. Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
4. Promote person-centred care tailored to the needs of our elderly residents.
5. Oversee the delivery of safe and effective care, ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
Requirements:
1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent) – essential.
2. CQC registration – preferred.
3. Proven experience managing teams within an elderly residential care setting.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
