Requirements: The Head Chef is seeking a passionate chef who are looking for a role where they can commit themselves in a fast-paced quality kitchen. Previous experience working in high-volume fresh food kitchens is essential, along with very strong organisational skills. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, skilled CDP for a fresh food based country pub Must have a can do attitude and be a team player. Based 5 days out of 7 with flexible shift patterns to suit the needs of the business, although on average a 45 hour week. Overtime is paid Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure all necessary ingredients are available for meal preparation. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Requirements Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A genuine passion for cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences for guests. Ideally need to be local to Wrexham and Malpas with own transport as not good public transport links No late nights - kitchen always closed by 9, 6.30 on Sundays 8pm weekdays by 8pm MCG1
