Learning Support Assistant
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support some of our most vulnerable students. Working closely with students in mainstream lessons and within the SEND team, you’ll be a key part of their journey to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
We’re a welcoming place – you’ll even have a laugh as you do your job. Staff who have joined recently have said that it has reinvigorated their love of teaching and they want to stay in the profession. No-one likes to leave our school: we believe in holding on to our staff and pupils.
We are inclusive, SEND-focused, trauma-informed and we have high expectations and standards. We don’t give up on children. Our outcomes and attendance for vulnerable pupils are above national averages for SEND and disadvantaged groups, but we’re not complacent and we won’t stop until we have achieved equity for all. Our pupils are respectful, kind and committed – this is a place where staff can teach and young people can learn in a calm environment.
