Tetra Tech’s Cost Consultancy is responsible for some of the most strategically important projects in the UK & Ireland. We provide our clients with high quality cost advice on the capital and whole life cost of their buildings with an increasing focus on carbon reduction. We have identified a need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Belfast.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support groundbreaking projects from their inception to successful handover.
* Collaborate with top-tier Quantity Surveyors and Directors and benefit from development and mentorship opportunities.
* Engage with clients, stakeholders, and a diverse team of experts from various Tetra Tech disciplines to craft innovative solutions.
Qualifications
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
* Have or are working towards full membership of the RICS
* Pre and post contract cost management experience, including setting budgets, managing change, assessing risk and opportunity and procurement
* Experience of working with NEC, JCT and bespoke forms of D&B Contracts
* Education and Health sector experience is preferable, but not essential as we are looking for experience across all sectors
* Dependable and reliable
* Professional and service focused on client satisfaction
* Promotes confidence with clients and colleagues
* Motivates junior members of the team
* Sound IT skills, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
* Self-motivation to work collaboratively with virtual project teams
* Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent problem solver and negotiation skills
