Job overview: Seaford College is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Learning Support Teacher to start January 2026. The role involves teaching students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, in our Academic Access and Achievement department. The position is aimed at supporting students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism and Specific Learning Difficulties across the 11–18 age range. Responsibilities
* Teach students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups within the Academic Access and Achievement department.
* Support students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, ADHD, Autism and other Specific Learning Difficulties.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement appropriate learning strategies.
* Monitor and report on student progress and adjust support plans as needed.
Qualifications and experience
* SpLD (Level 5 or higher) and/or Helen Arkell qualifications are advantageous.
* Teaching qualifications and demonstrable experience teaching Year 9 and above.
* Experience working with 11–18 age range students with varied Specific Learning Difficulties.
Contract and deadlines
Type: permanent, full-time.
