Job Type: Temp to Perm, 10 weeks via agency
Pay: £41000 - £45000
The Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to be based in Walsall. This is a reliable, ongoing role offering consistent work, well-maintained vehicles, and a professional working environment.
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining high driving and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities
Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
Completing deliveries and collections as scheduled
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and safely
Completing paperwork and digital tachograph records accurately
Complying with all Driver Hours, WTD, and road transport legislationRequirements
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Class 1 experience preferred
No points for insurance purposes
Good knowledge of UK road networks
