Job description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Health & Safety Advisor to manage and oversee health and safety across a food manufacturing site and retail operations. This is a key role in ensuring compliance with legislation, promoting a positive safety culture, and driving continuous improvements across the business.
As the Lead Health & Safety Advisor, you will develop and implement policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure the business complies with all relevant health and safety standards. You will investigate incidents, deliver training, and liaise with external bodies including regulators and insurers.
The role also includes managing budgets, overseeing audits, and supporting staff through clear guidance, training, and employee engagement. You will play a central role in fostering a safe, compliant, and positive working environment across all sites.
Salary & benefits
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
Core Hours: 6am –, Monday – Friday
