About the role
As a Butchery Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to learn the full scope of butchery operations—from inspecting and preparing meat to packaging and advising customers. You'll play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, supporting learners, and helping fulfil orders for our canteen and external customers.
Key responsibilities:
1. Prepare, trim, weigh, label, and price meat products
2. Cut and bone carcasses, package meat, and store it safely
3. Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
