Finance Manager - Retail – £250 per day (contract basis) + Benefits – South West London (Hybrid)
The Role

We're looking for a Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a growing retail business that sells stylish, affordable house and home products. This is a hybrid role, working from our South West London office two days a week, with the rest of the week from home.
The brand is known for bold design, accessible pricing, and making great style part of everyday living. We value creativity, collaboration, and practical thinking in equal measure.
You'll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the business. From day-to-day transactions to month-end processes and strategic improvements, you'll ensure the financial health of the company is always front of mind.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the finance team, overseeing workflow and ensuring accuracy
Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and all ledger activities
Manage salary payments, international transfers, and supplier runs
Monitor cash flow, credit card balances, and bank reconciliations
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external finance queries
Liaise with payroll providers to ensure timely salary processing and HMRC compliance
Handle foreign currency, hedging, and intercompany financial arrangements
Drive continuous process improvements for increased efficiency
Own and manage our Business Central system, including reporting and controls
Support budget planning, external audits, and financial reporting
The Person
Experienced in running a finance function, with solid knowledge of UK accounting standards
Comfortable leading a small team and managing multiple priorities
Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively across departments and with external partners
Hands-on and analytical, with a drive to improve systems and processes
