Role Overview
The Pastoral Support Officer will support students' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs
* Working closely with Heads of Year
* Monitoring behaviour and intervention plans
* Supporting reintegration meetings
* Liaising with parents
* Recording pastoral concerns accurately
* Supporting attendance improvement strategies
* Assisting with safeguarding referrals
* Coordinating mentoring support
* Supporting restorative practices
This role requires patience, resilience, and strong relationship-building skills.
Candidate Requirements
