Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and manage our Ofsted-registered children's residential home in Daventry. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing them with a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained at all times. You will lead, motivate, and develop a team of care professionals to deliver outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people aged 8-18 with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and achieves at least ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ inspection outcomes.

Develop and lead a skilled, motivated, and supportive staff team.

Promote a child-centred culture that prioritises the safety, well-being, and personal development of each young person.

Maintain excellent safeguarding practices, risk assessments, and care planning.
*
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently and effectively.
*
Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
*
Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting (essential).
*
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children’s home standards.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to inspire and develop staff to achieve exceptional outcomes for young people.
*
A valid UK driving licence (preferred).
