Equans is recruiting for a General Maintenance Operative to join the team in Reading Crown Court, The Forbury, RG1 3EH. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,.00 - £28,.00 per annum depending on skills and experience plus benefit package.

Mon-Fri 7am to 4pm
What will you deliver?
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive tasks on a wide variety of surfaces, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and Equans processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities. Activities will include
Mobile Cleaning, business as usual cleaning to cover holiday/sickness.
Respond to reactive clear up of body spills and deep cleans.
Inspect/repair/clean floors, walls, ceilings and roofs
Inspect/repair/clean free standing and fitted furniture
Inspect/repair/clean drainage and gully systems
Inspect/replace luminaries
Inspect/repair/clean doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
Assist engineering and cleaning staff in a wide range of duties as required
Carry out Ad-Hoc activities supporting Equans and Client team including Moves/Changes
