Job Description
Due to recent contract growth, we are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager at our Bridgwater site, TA6 6TS. This key role involves delivering warehousing and transport services for equipment related to the Hinkley Point construction project.
The role includes developing and maintaining relationships with our strategic customer, reporting to the Assistant General Manager. Key focuses are fostering a strong safety culture, team engagement and development, achieving efficiency goals, and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate must obtain and maintain security clearance, which includes providing a minimum of 3 years of consecutive UK employment, education, and residential history.

Day to Day Responsibilities
* Managing daily site operations, team leadership, contractors, and visitors
* Providing leadership and guidance, acting as escalation point
* Coordinating with stakeholders to manage processing volumes
* Delivering excellent service, managing KPIs, and fulfilling contractual commitments
* Ensuring site activities follow procedures and SOPs
* Developing team members and implementing site policies
* Creating and analyzing reports, resolving site issues
Candidate Requirements
* Proven coaching ability
* Warehouse/distribution experience
* Highly organized with attention to detail
* IT literacy and adaptability to new systems
* Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills, including at executive level
* Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
* Focus on HSEQ, NEBOSH qualification is advantageous
