Part-time, for ~12-16 months cover for Maternity Leave, office based role. Competitive salary and benefits package (details available upon request).


We are looking for a highly organised and reliable Office Administrator to support our team with both office administration duties and helping to coordinate technical paperwork. We are looking for somebody to join us part-time, ideally around 30 hours per week (we can be flexible on hours / days). This is a fixed term contract for maternity leave cover, but we are looking for somebody to join us as soon as possible to smooth the transition and learn from our current Office Administrator ahead of her maternity leave. Therefore the contract length will depend on how quickly the successful candidate is able to join us.


Enkos Developments is a consultancy that designs bespoke skincare and haircare formulations for the beauty and personal care markets. We work closely with our clients to understand their specific requirements and help them to create products that stand out from the crowd. We provide guidance and support throughout the product development process. Our technical knowledge and creative thinking enable us to develop high quality formulations that are safe, stable, effective and that delight consumers. Our formulations have won over 80 awards and counting!


We are a hard working team that is very active within the beauty industry, and we constantly have lots of projects on the go at any one time. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Office Administrator to join our wonderful team and help us to maintain our high levels of organisation in the best possible way.


Key responsibilities for this role will include:

* Answering the phone and receiving deliveries.
* Keeping all areas of the office organised, tidy and well stocked.
* Organising routine maintenance of office equipment.
* Coordinating and monitoring regular services including office cleaning, courier services and utility supplies.
* Keeping sample stock (ingredient, formulation & product) records up to date and well organised
* Preparing and sending parcels to our clients.
* Planning company social events.
* Occasionally helping to find and book travel and accommodation for team members.
* Requesting and correctly filing some technical documentation relating to cosmetic ingredients (specific training will be provided, no prior experience necessary).

* Is able to plan work effectively to meet deadlines but also able to adapt quickly when priorities change.
* Is skilled and experienced with using computers and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – face-to-face, on the phone and by email.
* Is a clear and concise communicator, able to communicate efficiently (verbally and in writing) at all levels.
* Is a strong team player who supports and works closely with their colleagues.
* Appreciates working in a fast-paced environment as part of a small team where every person matters.


This opportunity will be based on-site at our modern office in Leatherhead. Candidates must be fluent in English (both verbal and written) and already have the right to work in the UK. Previous experience in an office administration role or similar is preferable but not mandatory.
