Inspector - Asset Management (Water)
RPS has an exciting opportunity for a Inspector to work with the Asset Management team, inspecting and providing feedback on the condition of Assets and Infrastructure to support the Water Consulting Business across the UK.
About The Team:
RPS Water Consulting comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts delivering Asset Management and Operational Strategy for water industry clients, supporting business planning and delivery. This evolving industry offers challenges and opportunities requiring innovation, dedication, and teamwork.
Our Water Consultancy has prestigious AMP8 programs leading into AMP9 and beyond, offering long-term career stability and legacy creation.
About You:
As a key member, your role as Inspector is crucial in delivering projects for our Water Industry clients, working alongside multidisciplinary water project teams on capital delivery projects.
Joining us means engaging in exciting projects, collaborating with leading experts, and making a positive impact on communities and the environment. You will work with major water companies, ensuring a lasting influence.
Your Responsibilities:
* Inspect and report on Water and Sewage Infrastructure Assets.
* Prepare Inspection Reports covering features, health & safety measures, and structural conditions.
* Develop and follow policies and procedures.
* Contribute to team goals and business growth.
* Assist with Asset Management framework objectives.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Experience in Civil/Structural Engineering Inspection and Water site work preferred.
* Experience inspecting structural features, pipe bridges, and tunnels beneficial.
* Civil/Structural Inspection skills from other utilities considered.
* Proficiency in electronic inspection reporting and MS 365 suite.
* Knowledge of health and safety culture and its application.
