As part of the HR management team, lead the delivery of strategic and operational HR Operations across Recruitment, HR Administration, and Payroll, ensuring excellence in service delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement. Drive employee engagement, CSR initiatives, and evidence-based decision making through the effective management and development of the HR Operations team, contributing to the achievement of both business and HR strategic objectives. You will also: HR Services: Oversee and lead operational HR services, including HR Administration and employee lifecycle management, ensuring GDPR compliance and adherence to employment legislation across all offices. Payroll: Oversee and lead Payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing, compliance with legal requirements, and alignment with organisational policies across all offices. Maintain and improve core HR transactional processes via e-HR systems and other HR platforms, including absence management, staff information management, and employee benefits administration. Lead and manage the Recruitment function, ensuring effective talent attraction, selection, and onboarding processes that align with organisational strategy and support a positive candidate experience Drive employee engagement and CSR initiatives, collaborating with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and the L&D Manager to design and deliver programmes that foster a positive, inclusive, and socially responsible workplace culture Lead HR operational projects, including budget management, process improvements, and system upgrades, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery that supports both business and HR strategic objectives. Lead and coordinate HR audits, ensuring policies, processes, and employee records comply with legal, regulatory, and internal standards, and implement improvements based on audit findings. Oversee the annual salary review process for the UK & Ireland, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and alignment with local market conditions. Lead the review and maintenance of HR policies and ensure compliance, working closely with HR Business Partners to align policies with legal requirements and organisational standards Guiding and supporting effective performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development conversations. Drive organisational evidence-based decision making by producing, analysing, and interpreting people data and metrics to provide actionable insight on HR performance, engagement, recruitment trends, and CSR impact. Deliver high-quality reporting to leadership, including contributions to the Annual Report and Gender Pay Gap analysis. Profile What we are looking for Demonstrable HR experience, some of which should be in a similar role in a large or medium sized organisation. Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience operating at a similar level within HR Operations or shared services. A qualified professional Member of the CIPD (Associate, Chartered MCIPD or Chartered FCIPD) would be advantageous, but not essential. Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret people metrics and provide insights that inform evidence-based decision making. Effective judgement and decision making, alongside the ability to create innovative and flexible solutions to business issues. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build credibility and influence across all levels of the organisation. Sound understanding of HR systems and digital tools, including HRIS configuration, maintenance, and optimisation. Experience in project management, including delivery of system upgrades, change programmes, and operational transformation. Knowledge of UK & Ireland employment and payroll legislation, ensuring compliance across HR Operations.
