About Us
Established in 2002, Greenhouse Sports is a charity leading the fight for a future where young people are supported and empowered through sport. We coach and mentor young people from deprived backgrounds because the crisis for children living in deprivation is real and urgent. Children from the poorest families are three times more likely to not participate in any extra‑curricular activities compared to those from wealthier families and they lack many opportunities that are available to their wealthier peers.
We have an exciting opportunity to join a mission‑driven Sport for Development charity that makes a real difference. We are also a great place to work and are proud to be a winner of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards for 2024, in the medium category.
The Person
We’re looking for a proactive, community‑minded leader who combines operational excellence with a passion for people. You’ll have experience managing facilities and teams, and you’ll be confident engaging with diverse stakeholders—from local schools and youth organisations to commercial partners—understanding the power of collaboration in driving social impact.
You’ll be highly organised, adaptable and ready to roll up your sleeves to keep the Centre running at its best. Your communication skills will help you represent the Centre in the community, championing our values and ensuring every visitor feels welcome. If you’re motivated by making a difference and want to be at the heart of a thriving community hub, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As Centre Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind a vibrant community hub that transforms lives through sport and positive youth development. You’ll lead the day‑to‑day operations of our Grade II* Listed Centre, ensuring everything runs smoothly— from compliance and facilities to front‑of‑house excellence.
You’ll be the face of the Centre within the local community, forging strong partnerships with schools, charities, commercial stakeholders and Westminster Council. By integrating their programmes and events seamlessly, you’ll help create opportunities that raise aspirations and strengthen community ties.
Application Deadline: Wednesday 3 December at 23:59 hrs. All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Please note that interviews will take place in person week commencing Monday 8 December.
