Salary:£60,000 and fully expensed company car

Location:Head Office, Remote

Job Type:Full Time, 09:00 – 17:15

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health, Safety, and Facilities Manager to ensure compliance, safety, and sustainability across RH Commercial Vehicles and associated sites. The Role:

Reporting to the Directors, your responsibilities include:

Health and Safety:

* Lead in providing a safe environment for staff and customers, ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
* Oversee health surveillance requirements, including HAVS testing.
* Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections; implement corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate health and safety records and data.
* Stay updated on external health and safety developments and promote best practices.
* Develop and execute annual action plans within set timelines.
* Advise and guide directors, managers, and staff on health and safety issues, hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety strategies.

Facilities Management:

* Manage daily operations of eight sites and three properties, ensuring legislative and franchisor standards compliance.
* Serve as the main contact for facility operations.
* Lead redevelopment and refurbishment projects with senior management.
* Oversee environmental obligations, waste management, and reporting.
* Negotiate utility contracts and manage energy consumption.

Sustainability Initiatives:

* Drive sustainability projects to meet environmental goals.
* Monitor and report on energy use, waste, and environmental impact.
* Implement energy-efficient solutions and promote sustainability culture across locations.
Candidate Profile:
* NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
* Experience in promoting safety compliance and developing safety cultures.
* Flexibility, prioritization skills, and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to operate across multiple sites.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
* Full clean Driving Licence.

Preferred Experience:

* Experience in the motor trade, especially with commercial vehicles.
* First Aid or Fire Marshall certification.
