Job Description
3. Conduct thorough reviews of FRA's carried out by care takers/ external providers on One Manchester's housing stock
4. Producing detailed fire safety reports and recommendations
5. Pre & Post works sign off
6. Ensuring all properties comply with current fire safety regulations.
7. Providing fire safety advice and training to staff and residents.
8. Working closely with local fire services and other regulatory bodies.
9. Managing fire safety improvement projects from inception to completion.
10. Keeping up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and best practice.
11. Contributing to the development of organisational fire safety policies and procedures.
12. Supporting the wider building safety team.
13. Providing Technical Support.
14. Engaging with customers.
15. Contractor management.
The Successful Applicant
16. Relevant Fire Safety, Surveying or Construction qualifications
17. Experience working in a similar role for a residential provider
18. Thorough understanding of fire safety within social housing
19. Management of external contractors, consultants, customers and stakeholders
20. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
21. Excellent IT skills
