Logirec Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established and growing commercial painting and decorating company.
This is a key role for a reliable, professional and solution-driven individual with a strong site presence and excellent client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple live painting and decorating contracts simultaneously
• Take projects from contract handover through to final completion
• Control labour, programme, quality and overall site performance
• Manage site supervisors and subcontract painting teams
• Attend site and client meetings, acting as the main point of contact
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including RAMS, COSHH and CDM 2015
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Proactively identify and resolve site and programme issues
About You
• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager within painting and decorating (or closely aligned trades)
• Strong experience managing subcontract labour, ideally within painting and decorating or refurbishment
• Confident, professional and client-facing with strong communication skills
• Hands-on, practical and solution-focused approach
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
• CSCS card (Management level preferred)
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• Performance-related bonus
