Overview
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest service standards of cleaning are delivered in the home to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Ensure that cleaning duties are carried out in accordance to the cleaning schedule, ensuring the highest standard of personal presentation and hygiene are maintained. Ensure all health and safety requirements are being met and that infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times. To actively engage with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
Responsibilities
* Clean according to the cleaning schedule while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.
* Ensure health and safety requirements are met and infection control policies and universal precautions are followed at all times.
* Engage with residents in conversation and provide meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices, respecting dignity and communication differences.
Training, Skills & Experience
* Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
* A passion for care and a genuinely caring attitude focused on residents’ needs.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with high attention to detail.

£12.21 per hour.
Shift Pattern & Benefits
* Shift Pattern: 19 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
