Duties and Responsibilities
As Bell Attendant, I will support the Chief Concierge and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the Concierge department. My duties will include:
* Delivering and picking up guest luggage according to standards and procedures in a timely and efficient manner, offering assistance to guests when requested.
* Ensuring proper transfer of guests when requested.
* Loading and unloading vehicles upon guest arrival and departure, assisting guests entering and exiting vehicles.
* Maintaining cleanliness of guest areas, including the lobby, and reporting any defects.
* Maintaining the cleanliness and good condition of hotel buggies and vehicles.
* Handling guest inquiries by providing accurate and appropriate information.
* Reporting illnesses, accidents, or irregularities affecting guests to the Front Office Manager.
* Knowing and adhering to all safety, security, and emergency procedures related to my position, in line with brand and statutory requirements.
* Strictly following LQA standards.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Bell Attendant, I should have the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:
* A hospitality diploma or degree is preferred.
* Technical skills include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and CRM platforms is essential. I should have excellent knowledge of guest-related functions, guest service, and local area knowledge.
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages are preferred.
All candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
