Working in the Store
Our stores are fast‑paced environments where no two days are ever the same. As a Trading Assistant, you’ll ensure our stores are set up brilliantly to deliver outstanding value, quality and great service to customers.
Eligibility
* The minimum application age is 18 due to working hours and the type of goods you may be required to handle.
* You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of a small team to ready the store for customers, providing a convenient and speedy shopping experience.
* Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15 kg) to replenish shelves, serve customers at check‑outs, support deliveries and maintain a clean, well‑presented store.
* Pick and select the best quality products on the shop floor for customers using our On‑Demand grocery ordering service and assist customers with Click & Collect parcels.
* Serve customers brilliantly, answer questions and proactively offer help.
* Build knowledge about our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
* Check dates on fresh produce and grocery products.
