Do you want to grow your skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment? We offer a 24/7 service on a Band 3 role that allows progression from Band 2. Flexibility for nights, weekends and bank holidays is required.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct, hands‑on care and delegate clinical interventions within your competencies.
* Support patients in regaining independence and provide comfort in the final stages of life.
* Core clinical skills: pressure ulcer prevention and management, wound care, catheter care and bladder scanning, venepuncture, recording clinical observations (NEWS2 and blood glucose), and supporting physiotherapy and occupational therapy programmes.
* Maintain high‑quality, person‑centred care, working under the supervision of registered professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
* Level 2/3 NVQ Health related or equivalent experience in Health or Social Care.
* Care Certificate (completion is mandatory).
* GCSE level Grade 5 in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
* Previous relevant experience in health or social care, awareness of the needs of older people, ability to work without direct supervision, ability to prioritise workload.
* Desirable: training in communication skills, evidence of personal development, previous experience of working in a community hospital setting, understanding of Intermediate Care Services.

Benefits and Conditions
* Permanent contract, full‑time or part‑time.
* Band 3 salary £24,937 to £26,598 a year.
