The Role – Corporate Audit Manager
We are looking for an experienced and driven Corporate Audit Manager to join our growing Northern Ireland practice. This is a key role with responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of corporate audit clients, leading engagement teams and acting as a trusted adviser to clients.
You’ll combine strong technical audit knowledge with excellent people and client management skills, playing a vital role in the continued growth and success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a diverse portfolio of private sector audit clients
* Identifying audit risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
* Ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards and regulations
* Training and mentoring team members, developing their professional skills
* Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
* Overseeing the financial management of your portfolio
* Contributing to the firm’s Business Development initiatives
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* ACA and/or ACCA qualified
* Proven experience in corporate audit, including managing a client portfolio
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long‑lasting client relationships
* Proficiency in identifying and mitigating audit risks
* Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
* Leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in developing junior staff
* Commercial awareness, with the ability to contribute to business development
* A proactive and solutions‑focused mindset
