Quality Inspector - Manufacturing & Engineering Sector
Are you passionate about precision and quality? We're seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join a dynamic team within the heavy manufacturing industry. This role is vital in ensuring that production standards meet strict engineering specifications and customer expectations.
📍 Location: Lincoln
đź•’ Shift Pattern: Rotational weekly - Days, Afternoons, and Nights
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections using handheld tools and advanced equipment
Interpret engineering drawings and tolerances to assess forged components
Identify and report quality issues, initiating corrective actions where necessary
Maintain accurate records including SPC charts, Cpk data, and shift reports
Conduct audits, capability studies, and support calibration activities
Assist with PPAP documentation and dimensional mark-outs
Train and support new team members and Quality Examiners
Communicate effectively with internal teams, auditors, and visitors
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in a quality control or inspection role within manufacturing or engineering
Strong understanding of measurement principles and defect recognition
Familiarity with SPC, Cpk, and Gauge R&R studies
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
