What you will do:
* Recruit, train, assess, supervise, and support Foster Carers in their essential role of caring for children and young people.
* Provide a supportive and efficient service to children, young people, their families, and fostering families, ensuring comprehensive needs assessments.
* Investigate, evaluate, and analyse case information to ensure accuracy, reliability, and the creation of realistic action plans.
* Develop practice by adopting a holistic view of individuals, considering their wider social circles and development needs.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, fostering regulations, national minimum standards, and council policies and procedures.
* Complete enquiries, investigations, and assessments to a high professional standard within agreed timescales.
* Utilise ICT to maintain accurate and adequate case recording as per service procedures.
* Ensure all case management adheres to statutory requirements and council policies.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent.
* GSCC Registration and SWE Registered.
* Thorough knowledge of child protection and issues affecting children in care.
* Experience with foster carers and multi-disciplinary working.
* Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with individuals, teams, clients, and staff.
* Adaptable and resilient under pressure while effectively planning and organising tasks.
