You will be working Monday to Friday from 9am until 5:30pm.
Job Role:
As a Client Relationship Manager, you are a professional whoprovides the single point of contact between the various departments withinGovData.
It is your role to coordinate the services delivered to yourclients, with sole responsibility for the success that clients achieve throughyour use of these internal resources to support the client to win contractsacross the public sector.
You will facilitate expert advice and guidance to companiesseeking to expand their business, co-ordinate our support agreement with them,ensure our SLA and KPI is met for each client and provide them and your owninternal managers with a monthly report to evidence the same and discuss anyemerging needs or opportunities to better support the client.
Your aim is to improve their market position, to explore newopportunities within the public sector and beat their competitors. You willprovide desk-based support to clients whom GovData have successfully awardedonto a framework. Monthly reports are created and presented to the client withnew opportunities for them to grow their business.
A range of additional consulting services are commoditisedand packaged to support those goals. You will identify when it is appropriateand needed for the client to access those extra skills and knowledge.
You will also write GO/NO GO bid decisions on whether tosupport the client to pursue an opportunity through to a win, with GovDatareceiving win fees for the contracts the client succeeds.
Your day-to-day duties as a Client Relationship Managerwill include:
* Collaborate with clients to understand theirgoals, challenges, and objectives, and develop customised strategies to achievethem.
* Agree and gain stakeholder signoff for SLA withKPIs, both with client and internally
* Be the client’s 1stpoint of contact and becometheir expert in the public sector.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysisto identify target markets.
* Assist in developing and implementing effectivemarketing strategies to drive client revenue growth.
* Provide ongoing desk-based support to clients,for 12 months after framework award.
* Identify and document information relating tothe client’s business and products.
* Monitor and track the progress of businessdevelopment initiatives, providing regular updates and performance reports toclients.
* Work with internal departments to produce newmaterial for clients.
* Upsell new products and frameworks.
* Complete regular account reviews to understandthe client’s business.
* Keep up to date with industry changes andinternal processes.
* Produce internal reports to present toManagement on a weekly basis.
Requirements
As a Client Relationship Manager you will have:
1. Minimum 2 years account management / businessmanagement experience
2. Sound commercial skills and sales ability
3. Ability to think strategically, analyse marketdata, and identify growth opportunities
4. Results-oriented mindset with a track record ofmeeting or exceeding targets
5. Self-motivated and proactive with the ability towork independently and as part of a team
6. Proficiency in using CRM software to manageleads and track performance
7. Strong understanding of market dynamics, salesstrategies, and business development techniques
8. Excellent analytical skills to assess businessopportunities and financial viability
9. Proficient in Microsoft office Suite
10. Professional certifications in businessdevelopment or related fields are beneficial
11. Salary of up to £30,000
