Managing Quantity Surveyor - Retail Projects Location: Canterbury (flexible working / travel required) Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 + package (including car allowance) We are seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a portfolio of retail projects for a major client, including Marks & Spencer. Projects will range from smaller format fit-out schemes through to larger-scale refurbishments and developments. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing multiple projects and supporting commercial teams across a live programme of works. Key Responsibilities: Lead the commercial management of multiple retail projects from pre-construction through to final account Oversee cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with commercial targets Provide commercial reporting, forecasting, and risk management across the programme Support and mentor Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QS teams Work closely with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Maintain strong commercial control across live retail environmentsKey Requirements: Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Commercial Manager Strong background delivering retail projects, ideally including M&S programmes Experience managing multiple proje...
