Location: This role is offered on a permanent basis. It is a hybrid role, working from our Corby office two days per week.

We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Credit Controller to join our team and support cash collection activities within the UK Customer Market Sector. In this role, you'll be responsible for helping us meet key targets for cash collection, aged debt, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)—all while ensuring compliance with RS Group’s credit policies.

What you will be doing:

1. Collaborating with the UK AR team to achieve cash collection, aged debt, and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) targets.
2. Proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving customer account and payment queries.
3. Regularly reviewing debtor ledgers to spot and correct unallocated or misposted payments promptly.
4. Providing accurate, timely reporting on debtor balances and communicating progress clearly to managers.
5. Logging and managing customer disputes, contributing to their swift resolution and closure.
6. Identifying potential bad debts, escalating where necessary, and supporting legal action as needed.
7. Monitoring the AR inbox and ensuring all emails are actioned efficiently and professionally.

About you:

8. Experience in credit control.
9. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (desirable, but not essential).
10. A keen eye for risk, with the ability to spot and mitigate potential bad debts early.
11. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while staying organised and focused.
12. A drive for continuous service improvement and a collaborative team spirit.
